Someone said she is the best singer in all the American Idol seasons.
Old fashioned? Who care?? Some sort of acting innocence? God knows!
After Stephanie Edwards was sent home, Jordin Sparks and Melinda Doolittle are the two female contestants who have the star quality : big voice, powerful voice, great voice!
Only the cutie Blake Lewis the male contestant who has a rock-threat to these two females.

my fav is Jordin but yes, one cannot do little I mean more about the Doolittle voice but to be awed by it. They said she's been a background singer before she joined Idol and so her voice has more 'practice' than Jordin's who is very young. I'd say she has an edge over the others, but in fairness, Melinda is really a great singer and I won't be surprised if she gets to be the 2007 American Idol. :)
